Founded in 2013, SIND STUDIO is the collaborative practice of ceramic artists and product designers Nadya and Dima. Nadya was born and raised in Latvia, while Dima was born in Kazakhstan. Their creative paths came together in Jerusalem, where Dima studied ceramic art and design at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and Nadya studied industrial design at Hadassah Academic College. Now based in Vancouver, they create distinctive porcelain objects that bring together refined craftsmanship, sculptural expression, and subtle humour. Their work has been presented internationally through galleries, design boutiques, and museum shops, commissioned by Michelin-starred restaurants, and recognized with the 2022 Etsy Design Awards Grand Prize.

“Between Use and Wonder” considers the moment when a functional object becomes something more: a character, a gesture, a small presence within a room. Through expressive forms, delicate details and touches of colour and gold, familiar porcelain objects move beyond their practical purpose. Designed to be touched, used, and lived with, each piece brings imagination and a quiet sense of wonder into the rituals of everyday life.
